The Guilford County Tax Department is hosting three informational events to inform county residents about the upcoming 2026 tax revaluation process.
Each meeting will start at 6 p.m. with a presentation on how property taxes are assessed, how to verify updated property values online, how to navigate the appeal process, and opportunities for exemptions for the elderly and veterans. County staff will be available to provide one-on-one consultation on eligibility for tax exemptions.
Property values and tax rate details will not be available at the information sessions. Residents can expect to receive property reappraisal notices in February.
