Jamestown, Archdale, Trinity, and parts of Greensboro, High Point and Randolph County have been using, paying for, drinking, bathing in and washing veggies in finished water from Randleman Lake in Randolph County since 2010. If you weren’t aware of that, you’re not alone. We only found out about a month ago. If you live in Guilford County, the only thing more difficult than finding out exactly what lake and water treatment plant your water comes is finding out what’s in it. THIS POST may help decipher the contractual arrangement PTRWA has with local towns.

Citizens’ biggest concerns: The chemicals and contaminants coming from Eastside Sewer/Wastewater Plant, and Seaboard Chemical Dump/High Point Landfill, both located on Riverdale Drive in Jamestown 27282:

The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality knew this was a bad idea and said so:

PTRWA is now seeking funding in the amount of $120 million to install filtration technology capable of removing PFAS and 1,4-Dioxane.
