Jamestown’s LAND DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE is a different set of codes that address property use, structures, construction and development, landscaping, easements, parking, watershed and water quality regulations, stormwater regulations, and things like:

REGULATION OF NUISANCES like noise, fumes, gasses, odors

BICYCLE PARKING requirement
NO RECREATION VEHICLES, WATERCRAFT, TRAILERS allowed to park on residential streets
SIGN REGULATIONS, such as: A series of two or more signs placed in a line parallel to a public or private street carrying a single commercial message, part of which is contained on each sign, are prohibited; Signs that move or flash or have moving or flashing components, are intermittently lighted or have changing colors or revolve are prohibited. Signs in front store windows are limited to one per 100 square feet, and a maximum of three signs;

Call 911 for emergencies. The Town of Jamestown contracts with the Guilford County Sheriff’s Department to provide the Town with 24 hour protection. The District 3 satellite office is located at 211 Hillstone Drive in Jamestown, 336-641-6691. The non-emergency telephone number is 336.373.2222.
